LAKE FOREST, IL - After outscoring its first three opponents of the 2002 season 19-1, the Forester women's soccer team finally met its match Wednesday (September 11) against North Park University. North Park earned the 2-1 victory and moved to 3-0 on the season, while the Foresters' overall record fell to 3-1.

The visiting Vikings scored the only goal of the first half at the game's 13:34 mark when Linnea Johnson kicked in a pass from Katie Rose.

Lake Forest tied the score in the 66th minute on freshman midfielder Breanne Kuenzi's (Las Vegas, NV/Bonanza) third goal of the season. Sophomore midfielder Carinn Rasak (Santa Fe, NM/Santa Fe Preparatory) recorded the assist, her team-leading fourth of 2002. Both Kuenzi and Rasak have had at least one goal or assist in each of the team's four games this season.

North Park scored the game-winner on an unassisted goal by Rose in the 83rd minute.
