LaFin was named Forester Athlete of the Week for her contributions to the team's 2-1 victory at Carroll College. After facing just six shots on goal in Lake Forest's first three games, LaFin took on 13 in the game against Carroll and stopped all but one. For the season, LaFin has 17 saves and has allowed just two goals in three-and-a-half games, giving her a goals-against-average of 0.57 and a .895 save percentage. The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department
on Thursdays.
