Carthage scored a goal in each half. The first came in the game’s 11th minute and the second in the 77th. The Foresters’ goalkeeper, junior Kristyne Operzedek (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield), tallied a season-high eight saves in the contest. Lake Forest will put its 3-0-0 Midwest Conference record on the line Saturday (September 24) afternoon at home against Lawrence University. The Parents’ Day game will begin at 1:00. Box Score
