Region's Seventh-Ranked Teams Shuts Out Lake Forest 
Defeat is fourth straight for Foresters

CHICAGO, IL - The Lake Forest College women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 defeat at the University of Chicago Tuesday (September 24) in a non-conference match. The Foresters' overall record drops to 3-4-0 on the season while their Midwest Conference mark remains 1-2-0.

Lake Forest goalkeeper Rachael LaFin (Glen Ellyn, IL/Glenbard West), tallied a season-high 16 saves in the loss. Chicago, the Central Region's seventh-ranked team, out-shot the visitors, 31-6.

The Foresters will host Carthage College, the 10th-ranked team in the region, on Saturday (September 28). The match will begin at 12:00 p.m. The team will play another non-conference match at Aurora University next Thursday (October 3).
