Lake Forest junior goalkeeper Kristyne Operzedek (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) needed six saves to record her first shutout of the year and 12th of her career. She is now 2-1-1 on the season with a 0.77 goals against average. Lawrence out-shot the home team 11-8 in the game but the Foresters put more shots on goal (7-6). Lake Forest’s next two games will be against non-conference opponents, beginning with Tuesday’s (September 27) match at Concordia University (IL). The contest will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Foresters will then host Loras College, one of the top-ranked teams in the region, next Sunday (October 2) at noon. Box Score
