Foresters Play to a Scoreless Tie at Concordia Wisconsin
Alison Lynch records career-high 11 saves in the contest

MEQUON, Wis. – The Lake Forest College women’s soccer team traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin Tuesday (September 4) evening and, after 90 minutes of regulation and a pair of 10-minute overtime periods, returned home with a 0-0 tie on its season record. The Foresters are now 1-0-1 and the Falcons 1-1-1 on the year.

Junior goalkeeper Alison Lynch (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Notre Dame) tallied a career-high 11 saves and earned her sixth shutout in 10 starts as a Forester. She has not allowed a goal in 155 minutes of play this season.

It was Lake Forest’s second shutout in as many games this year.

The Foresters will be back on the road Thursday (September 6) night under the lights at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The match will begin at 7:00. Lake Forest will open Midwest Conference play Saturday (September 8) afternoon at 1:00 at Ripon College.
