Bianca Greene Named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week
Sophomore had three goals and three assists in three games last week

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Lake Forest College women’s soccer player Bianca Greene (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica) was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday (September 8) for her performance in three games during the previous week.

Greene, a sophomore midfielder, recorded an assist on the Foresters’ only goal in a 3-1 home-opening loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering on Wednesday. She added an assist in Friday’s 2-0 triumph over visiting Benedictine University.

Her performance in the team’s Midwest Conference opener at Knox College on Saturday, however, is what clinched the league’s weekly award. She scored half of the team’s goals in the 6-0 victory and assisted on a fourth. It was her first career “hat trick” and her seven points were easily a career-high.
