Foresters Fall in Final Non-Conference Match of the Season
Lose to UW-Whitewater 8-1

Head Coach Chris Conger
Brittany Richardon won with Anastasia Rudkovskaya at number one doubles.
WHITEWATER, WI - The Lake Forest women's tennis team wrapped up their regular season road schedule by dropping a tough 8-1 decision to host University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The match was their seventh of the season on the road, which head coach Chris Conger hopes will have prepared his team for a run in the Midwest Conference Tournament.

Recording the only victory for the Foresters was the number one doubles team of senior Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AK/Central) and freshman Anastasia Rudkovskaya (Buffalo Grove, IL/Buffalo Grove). Leading off the afternoon, Richardson and Rudkovskaya played to an 8-6 win in what looked to be a promising afternoon for the visiting team. Unfortunately the tide quickly turned and the Foresters dropped their final eight matches.

The Foresters return home for a match up with Ripon College on Friday (October 3rd). The match is slated to begin at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday marks the final match of the regular season when Carroll College visits Lake Forest. The match will begin at 3:00pm.
