The Foresters placed seventh with 22 teams points. Grinnell College, which claimed its fifth consecutive league title during the team tournament on Friday, led the way with 81 points.

Lake Forest's #2 doubles team of freshman Nonie Carson (Littleton, Colo./Littleton) and junior Molly Stapleton (St. Louis Park, Minn./Saint Louis Park) recorded the Foresters' only victory during Saturday's doubles tournaments. The Foresters' top finishes during Sunday's singles tourneys were turned in by freshman Sara Bennett (Sioux City, Iowa/Sioux City North) at #5 and sophomore Deepika Ramachandran (Mumbai, India/Mahindra United World College) at #6. Bennett won 6-1, 6-1 in the first round over a player from Illinois College and knocked off a foe from Knox 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 in the quarterfinals. She was then eliminated by the eventual champion at the position from Grinnell 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinals. Ramachandran had a first-round bye and defeated Monmouth College's #6 player 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. She was then knocked off 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 by the runner-up from Grinnell in the semifinals.

Freshman Allison Hamel (Bend, Ore./Bend) defeated Ripon College's #2 singles player 6-1, 6-3 in the first round before falling 6-2, 6-4 to the eventual runner-up from Beloit College in the quarterfinals. Stapleton fell 6-0, 6-1 to the eventual #3 singles champion from Grinnell in the quarterfinals before prevailing 10-5 over Ripon and winning 10-1 in the consolation final over Knox.
