Lake Forest Picks Up Ninth Win of the Season
Foresters win 7-2 at Benedictine 

LISLE, IL - For the ninth time in 11 matches, the Lake Forest College women's tennis team walked away from a match victorious. The Foresters won, 7-2, at Benedictine on Monday (October 2nd) in a non-conference match. 

It was the fifth straight win for Lake Forest (9-2). 

After sweeping all three doubles matches, the Foresters picked up four more wins at numbers four through six singles by a combined score of 42-6. Jamie Irons (Neenah, WI/Neenah) and Robyn Slater (Granite City, IL/Granite City) each won both their singles and doubles contests and Jackie Pieczkiewicz (Grayslake, IL/Grayslake Community) picked up her team-high ninth singles win of the season. 

Lake Forest will look for their tenth team victory of the season on Thursday (October 5th) when they host Aurora University.
