Lake Forest Records 6-3 Victory at Ripon
Rudkovskaya and Jackson each win twice

Anastasia Rudkovskaya won a pair of matches on Saturday.
RIPON, WI - The Forester women’s tennis team traveled to Ripon College Saturday (October 2) and came away with a 6-3 victory. Lake Forest is now 10-4 on the season while Ripon’s record fell to 6-6.

The visitors led 2-1 after the completion of the doubles matches. Sophomores Anastasia Rudkovskaya (Buffalo Grove, IL/Buffalo Grove) and Kendal Wapotish (McHenry, IL/McHenry) claimed a 6-2, 6-2 victory at number two doubles and junior Jill Chudacoff (Highland Park, IL/Highland Park) teamed with freshman Jaime Jackson (Milwaukee, WI/Divine Savios-Holy Angels) for a 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 triumph at number three.

Freshman Alli Berry (Plymouth, MN/Robbinsdale Armstrong) won 6-4, 6-3 at number one singles and junior Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AR/Central) recorded a 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5) victory at number two. Rudkovskaya bested her opponent 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 at number four and Jackson posted a convincing 6-0, 6-1 at number six.

Lake Forest will travel to Carroll College on Tuesday (October 5) for a 3:00 match, the team’s final regular season contest. The Foresters have qualified for the four-team Midwest Conference Championship Tournament on October 15, where they will face Beloit College in the semifinals.
