Molly Stapleton Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior now has 60 career victories

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College women’s tennis player Molly Stapleton (St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (September 10) for her performance in a pair of 9-0 Lake Forest victories in the previous seven days.

Stapleton, a senior, plays at #3 singles and #2 doubles. She prevailed in doubles 8-3 and singles 6-1, 6-2 last Thursday (September 3) as the Foresters defeated visiting Benedictine University. She also won 8-4 in doubles and 6-2, 6-1 in singles on Saturday (September 5) as the team blanked Ripon College.

Stapleton now has 30 singles wins and 30 doubles victories in her collegiate career.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
