September 14, 2004 Contact: Mike Wajerski, SID Lake Forest Records Second Straight 8-1 Victory The home team claimed two of the three doubles matches. Junior Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AR/Central) and sophomore Kendal Wapotish (McHenry, IL/McHenry) won 8-4 at number two and junior Jill Chudacoff (Highland Park, IL/Highland Park) and freshman Heather Kelley (Narangansett, RI/Narangansett) triumphed 8-2 at number three. All six Foresters won their singles matches. Freshman Alli Berry (Plymouth, MN/Robbinsdale Armstrong) recorded a 6-3, 6-0 victory at number one and each of the others moved up one spot in the order from their usual positions. Chudacoff played the only three-set match and came out on top 6-4, 2-6, 6-2. Sophomore Anastasia Rudkovskaya (Buffalo Grove, IL/Buffalo Grove) triumphed 6-0, 6-2 at number three and Wapotish claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at number four. Kelley prevailed 6-1, 6-2 and number five and freshman Rachael Chopp (Petoskey, MI/Petoskey) made her debut with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at number six. Lake Forest will play three fellow Midwest Conference South Division opponents this weekend (September 18-19). Monmouth College will host the Foresters at 10:00 Saturday morning and the team will play at Knox College at 2:00 that afternoon. Lake Forest will take on Grinnell College, who plays the reverse schedule on Saturday, Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Monmouth.
