Alli Berry Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Sophomore was perfect in singles and doubles in three Forester wins

  

Alli Berry is 32-17 in her career in singles and doubles combined.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College women’s tennis player Alli Berry (Plymouth, MN/Robbinsdale Armstrong) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week Tuesday (September 20) for her contributions to her team’s three home victories on consecutive days last week.

Berry posted a 6-0 record on the week in number one singles and doubles matches combined. Berry won 8-1 in doubles and 7-5, 6-1 in singles in the Foresters’ 9-0 sweep of Wisconsin Lutheran College on Thursday (September 15). The next day she prevailed 8-1 in doubles and 6-1, 6-1 in singles as Lake Forest routed Ripon 9-0. Finally, on Saturday (September 17), she helped lead her team to a 6-3 triumph over Monmouth College with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 victory in doubles and a 6-3, 6-3 win in singles.

Berry, a sophomore, is 5-1 in both singles and doubles matches so far this season, bringing her two-year records to 15-8 and 17-9, respectively. This is her second career MWC Performer of the Week award.
