Lake Forest Falls to Carthage College at Home
Team can qualify for MWC Tourney on Saturday

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women’s tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Carthage College on Tuesday (September 21). The Foresters are now 5-4 on the season while Carthage raised its record to 8-2.

Sophomore Anastasia Rudkovskaya (Buffalo Grove, IL/Buffalo Grove) played the closest match of the day, claiming a 7-5 win in the first set at number four singles before falling 6-3 in the second and 6-0 in the third.

Lake Forest will host Illinois College on Saturday (September 25) at 1:00 p.m. A victory would clinch the Midwest Conference South Division’s number two seed to the four-team conference tournament. The Foresters claimed the league title last year from the same position and has qualified for the team tourney each of Chris Conger’s first five years as head coach.
