Head Coach Chris Conger
Sophomore Maren Haag contributed with two wins versus Aurora
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest women's tennis team made quick work of visiting Aurora University Tuesday (September 24th) afternoon taking all nine points in the match.  The victory improved the Forester's season record to 7-2 with only six regular season matches remaining.

Leading the way for Lake Forest was sophomore Maren Haag (Moraga, CA/Campolindo) earning points in both of her matches.  Haag began her day with a straight set victory at number two singles (6-0, 6-1) and later teamed with freshman Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AR/Central) to record a second win at number one doubles (8-2).  Making her return to number one singles, senior captain Angie Kral (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central) soundly defeated her opponent (6-2, 6-0) to add another point to the team's total. In the end, seven different Foresters recorded at least one win for the home team.

The women return to the court tomorrow when they travel to Naperville, Illinois to play North Central College.  The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.  After a weekend off, the Foresters return to action Monday (September 30th) when they host College of Lake County.  The season's home finale will begin at 3:00 p.m.
