Foresters Rally For 6-3 Win Over North Central College
Boost record to 8-2 with impressive win

Head Coach Chris Conger
Senior Jackie Pieczkiewicz is only two wins away from setting a new school record
NAPERVILLE, IL - A day removed from a 9-0 sweep of Aurora University, the Lake Forest women's tennis team found itself in an intense battle.  Playing away from home for the fourth time in their last five matches, the Foresters responded to an early deficit to come back and beat North Central College 6-3.

Three different Foresters recorded two wins in the match, and only five accounted for all of the team's six points.  Senior Jackie Pieczkiewicz (Greyslake, IL/Greyslake) crept even closer to the school's all-time win mark with a victory at number three singles (6-0, 6-0).  The win improved her season record to 9-0 and leaves her only two wins behind the leader.  Junior Abby Jennings (Logan, OH/Logan) delivered a victory of her own at number six singles (6-1, 6-1).  Together, Pieczkiewicz and Jennings teamed up to win at number three doubles (8-2).  Freshman Brittany Richardson (Little Rock, AR/Central) was the other Forester to score two points after winning at both number two singles (6-2, 6-2) and number one doubles (8-6) with fellow freshman Courtney Livingston (Skokie, IL/ Niles North).  The win improved Lake Forest's season record to 8-2.

After a weekend off, the Foresters open up a busy week, featuring four matches in six days beginning Monday (September 30th) when they host the College of Lake County.  The regular season home finale will begin at 3:00 p.m.  They will then travel to Waukesha, Wisconsin on Tuesday (October 1st) for a non-conference match-up with MWC North division rival Carroll College.  The match will begin at 3:00 p.m.
