Women's Tennis Loses Just Three Games During 9-0 Win Over Trinity
Improve Overall Record to 6-2 

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women's tennis team made quick work of visiting Trinity International University on Thursday (September 28th), winning the match 9-0.

Not one Forester lost more than one game in their singles or doubles match, including four (three singles and one doubles) shutouts. 

In singles play, Shannon Sobieski (Fox Point, WI/Nicolet) at No.1, Sarah Roberts (Plainfield, IL/Lyons Township) at No. 3, and Jackie Pieczkiewicz (Grayslake, IL/Grayslake Community) at No. 5 each won 6-0, 6-0. Angie Kral (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central) at No. 2 and Jamie Irons (Neenah, WI/Neenah) at No. 4 both won their matches by scores of 6-0, 6-1. 

In doubles action, Kendra Reilly (Oyster Bay, NY/Cold Spring Harbor) and Kral won 8-1 at No. 1, while Roberts and Sobieski lost just two points in their entire match while blanking their opponents, 8-0. 

Lake Forest improved to 6-2 on the season. 

The team will play two Midwest Conference South Division matches in Galesburg, IL this Saturday (September 30th) when they face Grinnell College at 12:00 and Knox College at 3:00. The Foresters, the defending conference champions, are 1-0 in the MWC South for the 200 season.
