Inducted 1989   Growing
up in the Bronx, New York, Wes learned the game of handball at the Castle
Hill Beach Club under the tutelage of Hall of Fame coach Bob Davidson.
A member of the New York City Interscholastic one wall handball championship
team at DeWitt Clinton High School he served as captain his senior year.
While still in high school Wes won his first national USHA championship
at the Junior level.
Entering Lake Forest in 1968 with his twin brother William, he earned all America honors all four years and won the intercollegiate singles championship in both his junior and senior years. It was his senior year, 1972, that Lake Forest won its first national intercollegiate team championship. A chemistry major, Wes accepted a position with Automatic Marketing System. After several years with AMS he invested in a company of his own, B & B Instruments and ultimately became president. He continued his handball prowess, for many years, at the stat and national level in both amateur and professional competition. His National Championship accolades include the following: 1985 - USHA Three Wall senior doubles
