Mohammed Ejaz Ali - Co-President

Mohammed Ejaz Ali is a junior from India, majoring in biology and chemistry. His interests include reading and drawing. He did research with Dr. Pliny Smith on C.elegans studying the process of tissue development. He plans to be a medical doctor.

Yama Sadozai - Co-President

Yama is a senior from Northbrook, Illinois, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. In addition to his role in UAN-ASBMB, Yama is a member of Tri-Beta Biological Society, Commuter Student organization, and the Future Health Professionals club. He aims to be a cardiologist. He enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family and friends.

Carlos Becerra - Treasurer

Carlos Becerra is a senior from Mexico city. He is a double major in biology and spanish with a minor in education. Carlos did summer research with Dr. Pliny Smith on C. elegans trying to narrow down particular genes that cause pharyngeal mutations. After graduation he plans to attend medical school.

Mike Fiske - Web Manager

Mike Fiske is a junior from Northbrook, IL. He is a biology major with a chemistry minor. Mike plans to write a thesis in Dr. DebBurman's Parkinson's Disease lab. After Lake Forest, he plans to attend graduate school and obtain his PhD.

Jordanah Evans

Jordannah Evans is a biology major with a psych minor from Kingston, Jamaica. She plans to enter the field of public health, and is leaning towards dentistry.

Saajidha Rizvydeen

Saajidha is a sophomore majoring in Biology with a potential minor in Chemistry. She is originally from Sri Lanka but now lives in Chicago with her family. She is interested in both medicine and research, but is not entirely sure which path she will take in the future. In her free time, she likes visiting museums, reading, playing tennis, and biking.

Anneliese Szutenbach

Anneliese Szutenbach is a sophomore biology major from the south side of Chicago. She plans to attend medical school to become a pediatrician. She is an active member of LFC's handball team.


Danielle Clark - Co-President 2008-2009

Danielle Clark, a senior at Lake Forest College, attended high school in Las Vegas, NV. She is a chemistry major with a biology and psychology minor. After her graduation in May 2009, she plans to take one year off before continuing her education in medical school with the hopes of becoming a pediatrician.

Ray Choi - Co President 2008-2009

Ray Choi is a senior from Centennial, CO. He is currently conducting research in Dr. DebBurman's Parkinson's Disease lab for his senior thesis. After graduating from Lake Forest College, he plans to attend medical school.

Chris Tossing - Secretary 2008-2009

Chris is a biology and chemistry major from Lake St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating in 2009, Chris is taking a year off before continuing on to medical school.

Alexandra Ayala - Treasurer 2008-2009

Alexandra Ayala ’09 is a biology major from Caracas Venezuela. Currently, she is vice-president of Tri-beta, business manger of Eukryon, and is completing a senior thesis in Dr. DebBurman’s Parkinson’s disease. She has been invited to be a 2009 Teach For America Corps Member and will be teaching high school science for the next two years.

Stephanne Levin

Stephanne is a senior from Northbrook, Illinois. She is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. Stephanne has worked in a veterinary clinic for more than three years, and she plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Katie Rice

Katie is a senior chemistry major from Centennial, CO. In her time at Lake Forest she has played soccer, been a Resident Assistant, participated in Athletic Council, Alpha Phi, UAN-ASBMB, and Relay for Life. She also conducted research with Dr. Jason Cody as a Richter Scholar and for her senior research project. Her future plans are to attend medical school.

Melissa Schram

Melissa Schramm is a biology major from Gurnee, IL, graduating in May of 2009. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a career as a physician assistant.

Alexandra Charron

Alex is a senior from Calgary, Canada. She is a biology major and a chemistry minor. Next year, she is moving on to medical school with the hopes of eventually specializing in Pediatrics or Orthopedics.
