Welcome to my web page! My name is David Smith, and I created this page during the fall semester of the 2000-2001 school year at Lake Forest College. This website was developed in concert with a Prospectus for Professor Michael Ebner's History 300 course. My topic is the common soldier in the Army of the Potomac during the Civil War.
