Lake Forest Defeats Carroll, Falls to Beloit on Saturday
5-2 win over Carroll is LF's second straight victory

BELOIT, WI - Lake Forest College spilt a pair of Midwest Conference cross-over matches on Saturday in Beloit, WI. In their first game of the day, the Foresters knocked off Carroll College (WI) by a final score of 5-2. In the team's second match, Beloit College beat Lake Forest, 5-2. 

The win over Carroll was Lake Forest's second straight victory.

During the Carroll match, Lake Forest picked up wins at Nos. 2, 4, 5, and 6 singles and won the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches. Konrad Bienia (Lemont, IL/St. Lawrence Cathloic) eeked out a three-set, come-from-behind win (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) at No. 2 singles, and Evan Hall (Novich, VT/Loomis Chaffee School), Luke Figora (Yorkville, IL/Yorkville), and Andrew Schuman (San Francisco, CA/Lawrence Academy) each won in straight sets at Nos. 4, 5, and 6 singles, respectively.

Bienia teamed with Spencer Peoples (Scottsdale, AZ/New Mexico Military Institute) to win at No. 1 doubles, while Teplitsky and Hall won at No. 2 doubles.

In the Lake Forest-Beloit match, Hall and Schuman each won a point by claiming wins at No. 4 and 6 singles, respectively.

Lake Forest's next match will be at home on Sunday (April 8th) versus University of Hawaii.
