Lake Forest Drops Two to St. Norbert and Lawrence
Otto wins three of four singles and doubles matches

  

Dan Otto won once in singles and twice in doubles on the day.
GREEN BAY, WI - The Forester men’s tennis team fell to Lawrence University 6-1 and St. Norbert College 7-0 on Saturday (March 5). The Foresters’ record on the young season dropped to 0-3.

Freshman Dan Otto (Austin, TX/St. Stephens) earned Lake Forest’s only team point of the day with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph against Lawrence at number five singles. He and classmate Brayton Groth (Bloomfield Hill, MI/Cranbrook Kingswood) also teamed up for an 8-4 victory at number three doubles but the Vikings scored the doubles point with wins at the top two spots.

Otto and Groth also claimed an 8-6 victory at number three doubles against St. Norbert, giving Otto three wins in his four matches on the day.

The Foresters will be in action again on Saturday, March 19, at Concordia University (WI). Lake Forest will take on Beloit College at 3:30 that afternoon and the hosts at 6:30 p.m.
