Eric Crawley and Pat Dunne earn Co-Forester Athlete of the Week honors
Crawley earns All-Conference, Dunne kicks school record 50-yard field goal

Eric Crawley became the second male to ever earn All-Conference honors.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Seniors Pat Dunne (Palos Heights, IL/Marist) and Eric Crawley (Braintree, MA/Thayer) have been named Forester Athletes of the Week for their outstanding performances during the week of November 3-9.  During the week, both recorded personal bests in their respective sports, Football and Cross-country.

Kicker Pat Dunne helped the Forester football team extend their record to 8-1 and an opportunity to play for its first conference championship since 1983.  Dunne kicked two field goals in the win over Lawrence University, the first a 26-yarder with 8:56 left in the second quarter to seal the victory for the Foresters.  In the final home game of his career, Dunne was not finished there as he lined up and drilled a school record 50-yard field goal with 2:24 left in the fourth quarter.

Eric Crawley also put together a tremendous week while competing in the Midwest Conference Championship Cross-Country meet on November 2nd.  Coming off his season, and career-best time of 27:18 a week earlier, Crawley one-upped himself in the conference meet.  Beating his previous best time by :05, he placed 14th in the conference meet finishing the 8K race in 27:13.  The 14th place finish was good enough to earn all-conference honors, only the second such recognition earned by a Lake Forest runner.  Aside beating his personal-best, the time also ranks number three all-time in the history of Lake Forest College.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
