Assistant Coach Lee Costley

Coach Costley is in his third season (1999-present) with the Foresters. Costley serves as the head junior varsity coach and is involved in all aspects of the Forester program, including recruiting. He began his collegiate coaching career at Lake Forest College in 1999. During his first season with the program, the Foresters recorded the school's best overall record (15-11-0) since the 1990-91 season. 

Costley came to Lake Forest from Glenbrook North High School (IL), where he was an assistant coach on the junior varsity squad. The team was the 1999 Metro North Champions, Scholastic Cup Champions, and Blackhawk Cup State Champions.  

In 1997-98, he spent time as an assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach at Two Harbors High School (MN).  Before entering the high school coaching ranks, Costley coached for the Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association for nine years. Costley is a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in Secondary Education and a minor in Geography.
