Erin Motzer won all four of her races on the weekend.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Senior Erin Motzer (Libertyville, IL/Libertyville) was named Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week for her performances in a pair of weekend meets. Both events concluded with the Foresters on top of the standings.

Motzer, and the Foresters, began the weekend hosting a triangular featuring conference opponent Ripon College and non-conference Benedictine University on Friday, November 8th. Victorious in both of her races, the 800M Freestyle and 100M Butterfly, she earned a total of 18 points by posting times of 10:09.35 and 1:10.88, respectively. The 18 points contributed to the Foresters' team total of 132 and helped the home team swim away from the competition winning 132-52-33.

The following day (Saturday, November 9th), Motzer bettered her times in both events when conference rival Lawrence University came to town. Her times of 10:05.72 in the 800M Freestyle and 1:10.79 in the 100M Butterfly were again good enough for a first place finish and 18 points for the Foresters. Lake Forest again came away victorious, defeating the Vikings 137-89 and raising their record to 2-1 on the season.

The Midwest Conference Athlete of the Week is selected by the conference's Sports Information Directors.
