Angela Lagerman moved into fourth on the school's all-time list for kills in a career.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest senior Angela Lagerman (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls) has been named the Midwest Conference South Division Player of the Week for October 1-7th.

In Thursday's (October 4th) loss to Elmhurst College, the seventh-ranked team in the nation, Lagerman led the team with 14 kills and had only 2 errors in 23 attempts for a .522 hitting percentage.

In three matches during Saturday's 18th Annual Forester Invitational, she connected for a team-high 37 kills while tallying just 5 errors in 58 attempts for a .552 hitting percentage. She also recorded a dozen blocks on the day. The Foresters won all three matches to claim first place and Lagerman was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Lagerman is the career school record-holder for total blocks (345), solo blocks (112) and hitting percentage (.320). On Saturday she moved into fourth on the school's all-time list for kills with 716, passing current assistant coach Amanda Taylor, who graduated last year with 709.

The Midwest Conference Player of the Week is selected by the league's sports information directors.
