Sarah Frantz returns to her alma mater this season in her first season as an assistant coach.

Frantz was the Foresters' setter from 1997 through 2000 and helped lead the team to three Midwest Conference championships during her career. She was named the league's Player of the Year and Lake Forest's Most Valuable Player following her junior and senior seasons, when she posted the top two assist totals in school history. She was also a team captain as a senior.

While her single-season record for assists has since been broken, her career mark of 4,348 is more than double the second-highest total in school history. Frantz is still the program's all-time leader with 209 aces and ranks 10th in career digs.
