Foresters defeat Judson College in Three Games
Seniors lead the way

ELGIN, IL - When senior Leslie Boyle (Chicago Heights, IL/Marian Catholic) took over at setter before last weekend's Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic Tournament, things started to click for Lake Forest College's volleyball team. Boyle and the team's other three seniors made sure the team continued its winning ways Thursday (September 20th) night at Judson College. The Foresters needed just three games to defeat the Eagles (30-21, 30-15, 30-21).

Boyle tallied 38 assists and 12 digs in the match. Fellow senior Stephanie Reinboldt (McHenry, IL/Marian Central Catholic) connected for a team-high 13 kills and added four blocks as well. Another senior, Chrissy Laurine (Richmond, IL/Richmond-Burton), also had four blocks and equaled that number of service aces. The team's fourth senior, Angela Lagerman (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls), tied for second on the squad with eight kills.

Lake Forest has won four of its last five matches and will try to take its record from one below .500 to one above on Saturday (September 22nd) at Lawrence University. They will take on UW-Eau Claire (at Lawrence) at 12:00 pm and then Lawrence at 2:00 pm. Their next match at home will be on Monday (September 24th) when they host UW-Whitewater at 7:00 pm.
