Lake Forest Splits Four Matches at Illinois Wesleyan Tournament
Stephanie Reinboldt named to six-member All-Tournament Team

BLOOMINGTON, IL - At the Illinois Wesleyan Volleyball Tournament over the weekend, Lake Forest College picked up two wins on Friday (September 8th), but lost both their matches the following day. 

The Foresters (3-2) defeated Maranatha Baptist Bible College (15-4, 15-4, 15-6) and Millikin University (15-11, 15-4, 15-11) in three games on Friday, but fell to Illinois Wesleyan University (0-15, 5-15, 8-15) and UW-River Falls (10-15, 12-15, 3-15) in three games on Saturday. 

Stephanie Reinboldt (McHenry, IL/Marian Central Catholic), who was named to the six-member All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the event, led the Foresters with 33 kills in 11 games (3.0 kills/game). She also added 29 digs and six blocks for the weekend. 

Freshman Jenny Anderson (Sebastopol, CA/El Molino) added 27 kills, five aces, and 16 digs, while Chrissy Laurine (Richmond, IL/Richmond-Burton) had six aces, 27 digs, and 14 kills. Leslie Boyle (Chicago Heights, IL/Marian Catholic) led the team with 32 digs, Sarah Frantz (Lake Geneva, WI/Badger) contributed a team-high 115 assists in 12 games played (9.58 assists/game), and Angela Lagerman (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls) had eight blocks to lead LF.

Lake Forest's next action will come on Wednesday (September 13th) when the team travels to Trinity International University for another non-conference match.
