Assistant Coach Jacquie Vinje

Coach Vinje is in her seventh season with the Forester women's basketball program and the 10th year of her coaching career.

In her 11 years of collegiate basketball, including seven in coaching, her teams have made seven national tournament appearances. Lake Forest has claimed a pair of Midwest Conference titles and reached the NCAA Tournament twice (2001 and 2007) during her time at the College. She also helped Viterbo University in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, to an undefeated conference season, league championship, and NAIA Toournament appearance in her only year as an assistant with the team (2000-01).

Prior to entering the collegiate coaching ranks, Vinje spent two seasons as an assistant high school coach. In 1998-1999, she served as a student assistant at Eau Claire North High School and, in 1999-2000, Vinje coached at her alma mater, Monona Grove High School.

Vinje is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a coaching minor. She received her Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Wisconsin-Lacrosse in 2001.

While an undergraduate at UW-Eau Claire, Vinje helped the Blugolds to an NCAA Tournament appearance each season, including a trip to the national championship game in 1997. She served as team captain for her senior year and was named the squad's rookie of the year as a freshman.
