"I have been affected dramatically by McRAH. It has helped me recapture the spirit with which I began teaching."

My historical artifact is a sextant which was made approximately one hundred twenty-five years ago. A sextant is used to determine the angle between the sun and the horizon, which gives you your latitude. This sextant was built by F. M. Jones of London and represents English design at its finest. It was purchased by my father in Nantucket, Massachusetts in 1967.
