Pictured Artifact:
The artifact that I am holding is called a carriage clock. It was made in the early part of the 20th century by Daniel Pratt's Son in Boston. It has an an off-white enamel dial with black numbers and small spade hands. The five glasses on the case sit on a platform that is surrounded by brass. It looks like a late 19th century French carriage clock with its 8-day spring movement and fold-down handle.
