Coaching Staff Tom Myers Defensive Line Coach Tom Myers, former head coach at Lake Forest High School (14 years), is in his ninth year on the Forester coaching staff. Myers directed the team's linebackers for two years before taking over the defensive line coaching duties in 2003. He has been the position coach for three Midwest Conference Defensive Players of the Year (linebacker Casey Urlacher in 2002 and defensive end David Bleitner in 2003 and 2004) and a total of 15 all-conference selections, including two in 2008. He has coached three different Foresters to all-region honors and a pair to All-American distinction. Myers posted a 92-54 record at Lake Forest High School, guided the Scouts to eight Illinois High School Playoff appearances, and accumulated an 11-8 post-season record. Myers was also a basketball coach at the high school from 1977-1985 and has coached the baseball team since 1979. He and his wife, Carol, live in Lake Forest and he continues to teach at the high school.
