Mandi Mulliner Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Junior pounded out 44 kills in four matches

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College volleyball player Mandi Mulliner (Elmhurst, Ill./York) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (October 29) for her performance in four matches during the previous seven days.

Mulliner, a junior middle blocker, recorded a .357 hitting percentage, two aces, and two blocks in the first match of the week, a three-set loss at Beloit College last Friday (October 23).

The next day the team hosted and defeated Grinnell College in four sets before falling to Trinity International University in five. Mulliner finished with 24 kills, 10 digs, six blocks, and a pair of aces on the day.

Finally, in a four-set victory at Carroll Unievrsity on Wednesday that kept the Foresters in contention for a spot in the four-team MWC Tournament, Mulliner pounded out 14 kills and posted a .379 hitting percentage.

Her totals for the week included 44 kills, 10 blocks, five aces, and a .317 hitting percentage

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
